And the birdhouse goes to....

I was a little concerned after I posted my question. I showed my husband the blog and he didn't understand what I was asking "outhouse, birdhouse or doghouse..... tell me why". But everyone really seemed to grasp my idea and colorful & creative comments came flooding in.

The second step was to pick a winner. I didn't really think that part through when I signed up for the Bloggy Carnival Giveaway. So, I thought the fairest way would be to write all contestant's name on a piece of paper.

Place the names in a container and have my son draw the winner.
Worked just fine. And the winner of one unique birdhouse goes to......

Thanks so much for choosing my yard for that darling birdhouse! The only problem will be which pair of lovebirds get to live in it. I have tons of birds in my wooded backyard. I guess they can duke it out. It will get here in time for somebody to pick out drapes and move in before winter (what little winter we have here in Atlanta) cold sets in. ha
