Wanted…beautiful yard for one unique birdhouse.

BLOGGY CARNIVAL CLOSED
My good friend and internet mentor just emailed me this morning and politely insisted I try out a blog giveway carnival. I was a little overwhelmed and I am not sure what I am getting myself into. Here I go.

1. I need a “catch” phrases to draw people in. Okay, how about “Wanted…beautiful yard for one unique birdhouse”. I think that could work.

2. Something to give away.
Well….I think #1 pretty much answers question #2.
3. Fortunately I happen to make unique birdhouses. I am in luck.
4.Now, how to win the birdhouse. Why not leave a comment? That sounds fair… But not just any ordinary comment…something to make you think or stir up your creative juices. Hmmmmmmm. Oh, I got it…read #5

5.“Outhouse, birdhouse or doghouse…tell me why?”

6. Oh, yes I need a way to get in touch with the winner. Please leave email address with your creative comment. Drawing will take place on August the 4th. Sorry U.S. residents only.
Best of Luck and remember…”Outhouse, birdhouse or doghouse…tell me why”

The fun has begun!

Birdhouse--because we are loving our birdhouses this year! (don't pick me--you know I already have one of these cool birdhouses....I just wanted to leave a comment.)

Birdhouse! Because I have a dog house and would NEVER send my hubby there and my dog won't sleep in it! It's useless! So... Bridhouse it is!!!

Birdhouse! It's my new passion. I have a bunch scattered around the yard as a means to feed my addiction to photographing...well I'll take a picture of anything.

Although, I have to say, in the Lancaster PA there's this little oddity shop that makes great use of an old Outhouse. It amuses me to no end and it *almost* bested the 'big ole birdhouse' I purchased that strip to Amish country. Almost. Not quite.

The dog house? Well I don't have a dog -- but I'm sure at some point I can find a person I'd like to stick out in such a contraption for a night or two. ;)

I love your work, by the way. LOVE it. You are now officially on my "Hey guys, buy Mom this!" wish list. :)

Doghouse because I miss having a dog to play with. I haven't had one since mine died when I was in 8th grade :(

Outhouse! I live in the country and have always wanted an outhouse (just for conversation) in my yard with flowers around it. Take a look at my blog http://thyme-for-herbs.blogspot.com to see where I might put it. I have 1 acre of gardens. This birdhouse would fit right in with my many others and the theme for my yard! Thanks for the chance to win. Fun!!!

Dog house! We rescue pekingese doggies, and I can always use another house for them. I love your birdhouse, too. Please add me!

Birdhouse because dog houses are big and bulky (and because our home came with a particularly ugly one that we tried for 5 years to get rid off) and because birdhouse has better connotations than outhouse. :-)

Outhouse....because I grew up in South America and have some funny memories of ourhouses there! LOL

I'm not sure I understand the question, but I want a birdhouse, and I think this looks like a good birdhouse! We need to get a bird feeder too. And a squirrel feeder, because I hate to leave those little guys out.

Birdhouse! But at the new (old log cabin) house that I'm moving into the birds poop from their nests in the rafters of the carport. Perhaps you could attach a tiny outhouse to the birdhouse?

I'm going to go look at your etsy store now!

I love that birdhouse! It's beautiful!

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but I'd love this for my parents' back yard. My mom is a bird watcher, and they just bought a new place with absolutely nothing in the back yard. Plus we're in NM sos that would be perfect! :P

artmarcia said...

Birdhouse, definitely. but also bird feeders and birdbaths--whatever I can do to attract the birds to my yard.

Anonymous said...

Dog house...maybe if I had a doghouse, my husband would agree to get a dog! Probably not, though. I'd better just go with the birdhouse--it is super cool!

Thanks for the chance!

Outhouse! Why? Because a need is a need and when you gotta go....well, you know.

Now, once that is covered, birdhouses are just doggone beautiful and are an especially nice addition to our homeschool distractions, er..I mean, lessons.

Doghouse, because when it rains people have houses, and birds have nests, and dogs have nothing.

Outhouse!! Cause it could be both useful and decorative :)

bird house. Why? Because my grandpa loved to sit out under the trees and watch the birds. And silly as it seems I have always thought it would be neat to be a bird and to soar over head and play in the wind.

Birdhouse. I already have the feeder and the birdbath. I just need the house and they will never have to leave my yard. I also feed the chipmunks and unfortunately the squirrels get in on the act, too.

Thanks for having the giveaway!

Birdhouse! My yard isn't big enough for a dog house, and outhouses have absolutely no appeal to me. I could hang up the birdhouse and watch all the pretty birds outside the window. Thanks for the giveaway.

outhouse... the birds could roost in it and the dog could lay on the floor in it but it could be useful to me, too!

Yard Sale Princess said...

Outhouse! I was just telling my dad that when the kids play outside and are wet and muddy, I don't want them going inside to use the potty. I was thinking about putting a potty chair behind a screen but an outhouse would be more fun!

birdhouse, I collect them and have a lot around my yard. I love to watch the birds and have made a bird friendly yard. My dog likes to lay and watch them too.

Birdhouse! Why? I prefer indoor plumbing;) and the dog doesn't use his doghouse so what is the point? Birds on the other hand are fascinating and I would love to provide for them.

Nancy Sabina said...

Definitely NOT doghouse. I have enough little, messy, hungry creatures around without a dog too. And not an outhouse. That's no fun. So I guess that leaves a birdhouse. Actually, I've been meaning to get a birdhouse. We have a big tree right outside out back door and I know the kids (the beforementioned messy, hungry creatures) would love to become bird watchers.

Birdhouse. Because the squirrels in my yard need some competition.

I love this birdhouses (and other things) made with license plates.

Outhouse - no thank you, way to stinky, fear of falling in, splinters, I could go on and on as to why no outhouses!

Doghouse - nope, we are cat people (don't worry they are inside cats and don't eat birds)

Birdhouse - Yes! We need a new place for the birds that come to our yard for the yummy bird seed we put out and those that stop by to rinse off in our birdbath

Thanks!

Sarah Z said...

Outhouse... because you don't see the real ones anymore - only the johnny-on-the-spots which are gross!! but when you gotta go... I would rather pick a tree!

Thank you!
